  In recent years, the titanium dioxide industry in China has doubled in terms of capacity, production and market demand, and the titanium dioxide industry in China has led to a period of prosperity.
  Titanium dioxide is considered to be the best white pigment in the world at present. It is widely used in coatings, plastics, paper making, printing, ink, chemical fiber, rubber, cosmetics and other industries. Titanium dioxide is chemically stable and does not react with most substances in general. In nature, titanium dioxide has three crystals: titanium, titanium and rutile. The coating industry is the largest user of titanium dioxide, especially rutile titanium dioxide, which is consumed by the coating industry. The coating made of titanium white powder has bright color, strong coloring force, strong dosage, high dosage and many varieties. It can protect the stability of medium, enhance the mechanical strength and adhesion of the film, prevent cracks, prevent ultraviolet and moisture transmission, and prolong Qi Moshou's life.
  The plastic industry is the second largest user.   The paper industry is the third largest user of titanium dioxide. It is used as a filler for paper and is mainly used in advanced paper and thin paper. Titanium dioxide can make the paper have better whiteness, good gloss, high strength, thin and smooth, no penetration in printing, light weight. Anatase titanium dioxide without surface treatment is generally used in papermaking as a fluorescent whitening agent to enhance the whiteness of paper. However, laminating paper requires rutile titanium dioxide treated by surface treatment to meet the requirements of light resistance and heat resistance.
   Titanium dioxide is also indispensable white pigment in high grade ink. The ink containing titanium dioxide is durable and has good surface wettability and is easy to disperse. The titanium dioxide used in the printing industry is rutile and anatase. 
  The textile and chemical fiber industry is another important application area of titanium dioxide. The titanium white powder used for chemical fiber is mainly used as a light elimination agent. Because anatase is soft than golden red, anatase is usually used. The titanium white powder used for chemical fiber generally does not need surface treatment, but some special varieties can reduce the photochemical effect of titanium dioxide to avoid the degradation of the fiber under the photocatalysis of titanium dioxide, and need to be treated with surface treatment.
 Enamel industry is an important application area of titanium dioxide. Enamel grade titanium dioxide has the advantages of high purity, good whiteness, bright color, uniform particle size, strong refractive index and high color elimination force. It has strong milk turbidity and opaque, which makes the coating coating thin, smooth and acid resistant. In enamel manufacturing technology, it can be evenly mixed with other materials, and it is easy to melt and so on.
  Ceramic industry is also an important application field of titanium dioxide. The ceramic grade titanium dioxide has the characteristics of high purity, uniform grain size, high refractive index, high temperature resistance, and 1 hour constant ash at 1200 degree high temperature. Opacity, thin coating and light weight are widely used in ceramics, architecture, decoration and other materials.
  There are two ways to produce titanium dioxide: sulfuric acid and chlorination. 56% of them are chlorination products, and more than 70% of this product are produced from DuPont and other titanium white powder factories in the United States, and the other countries, including China's titanium dioxide factories, are still mainly sulphuric acid. 
  Sulfuric acid method: it is the acid hydrolysis of titi powder and sulfuric acid to produce ferrous sulfate, which is hydrolyzed to produce meta titanic acid and then calcined and comminuted to get the titanium white powder. This method can produce anatase and rutile titanium dioxide. The advantages of sulphuric acid method are that ilmenite and sulphuric acid can be obtained easily with low price as raw materials. The technology is mature, the equipment is simple, and the anticorrosive material is easy to solve. Its shortcomings are long process, mainly intermittent operation, wet operation, high consumption of sulfuric acid and water, waste and by-products, environmental pollution.
  Chlorination method: chlorination method is the chlorination of rutile or high titanium powder and coke mixed with high temperature chlorination of four titanium chloride, after high temperature oxidation, and then water filtration, water washing, drying, crushing titanium dioxide products. The chlorination method can only produce rutile products. The advantage of chlorination is that the process is short and the production capacity is easy to expand. Continuous automation level, low energy consumption, less "three wastes", can get quality products.
  Based on the material characteristics of titanium dioxide, the company has successfully applied the rapid rotary flash dryer on the basis of absorbing advanced equipment and technology abroad.
Equipment Description:
      flashdryer is mainly composed of air intake system, heating system, feeding system, drying machine, dust collection system, exhaust system, control system and so on. When working, the wet material is entered into the drying chamber by the spiral feeder. The material meets the hot air rotating at the high speed in the drying room. The fine powder material is moved to the upper end of the drying chamber by the hot air. The material that can not be taken away falls on the bottom of the drying room and is broken by the crushing device at the bottom. The material is dispersed quickly and the material is in contact with the hot air. The product has increased rapidly. Under the action of centrifugal force (there is a grading device at the top), the product that reaches the degree of drying and a certain fineness is blown out of the grading device, and the material is quickly dried in this process.

Equipment features:
      Flash dryer has the advantages of high technology content, high standardization, environmental protection, safety, low consumption, simple maintenance and so on.
  ①the bottom of the dryer is set up by the inverted cone shape, which makes the flow section of the dry gas expand from bottom to top, the bottom air flow is relatively large and the upper air flow is relatively small, so that the large particles in the lower part are in the fluidization state, and the small particles in the upper part are also in the fluidized state, and the hot air is rotated along the vertebral body, and the bottom is raised to the bottom. The wind speed reduces the length of the cantilever part of the mixing shaft and increases the safety and reliability of the operation. The bearing can be placed outside the machine, and the bearing can be effectively prevented from working in the high temperature zone, thus prolonging the service life of the bearing.
  ②The scraper is set on the agitator. While the material is crushed by the stirred tooth, it is thrown to the wall and sticking to the wall. If it is not shaved in time, the equipment will vibrate seriously, and even the agitator can not be turned. The scraper is set on the stirring teeth, so that the material sticking to the machine wall can be spalling in time to avoid sticking to the wall.
  ③The rotation number of the mixing shaft is controlled by the stepless speed control motor. According to the requirement of product size, different speeds are selected. The quicker the speed of the stirring shaft, the smaller the particle size of the product.
  ④A classifier is set up on the top of the dryer. By changing the diameter of the hole of the classifier and the height of the classification section, the air velocity is changed to control the particle size and quantity of the dryer, the final water content and the residence time of the material in the drying section.
  ⑤The speed of the screw conveyor is controlled by an inorganic speed motor. The feeding speed is controlled according to material properties and drying process parameters.
  ⑥The equipment has compact structure and small area. It integrates drying, crushing and grading. It is an organic combination of swirling technology, fluidization technology, spouting technology and convection technology. After drying, it does not need to be crushed and sieved. It simplifies the production process and saves the cost of power and equipment.
