Project Overview:
  Silicon carbide (SiC) is made of quartz sand, petroleum coke (or coal char) and sawdust as raw material through high temperature smelting by resistance furnace. Silicon carbide is also a rare mineral in nature. Silicon carbide is also known as carbon silica. Silicon carbide is the most widely used and the most economical type of non oxide high technology refractory materials such as C, N and B. It can be called gold steel sand or refractory sand. At present, the silicon carbide of industrial production in our country is divided into two kinds of black silicon carbide and green silicon carbide, all of which are six square crystals with a specific gravity of 3.20 to 3.25 and the microhardness of 2840 ~ 3320kg/mm2.

In the process of design, the machine fully combines the characteristics of flow drying, such as air drying, and avoids the short, makes the machine have a reasonable process structure and superior performance, and truly realizes the low consumption and high efficiency target of fluidized drying.
The machine has a wide range of applications. It can be used for the drying of fine powder materials such as silicon carbide, black carborundum, green carbon silicon, black carbon silicon micro powder, green silicon carbide powder, foam ceramic silicon carbide, and small weight of silicon carbide in refractory material. The equipment has high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, small footprint, simple configuration and convenient operation control.

Working principle:
 The hot air is from the bottom of the dryer into the mixing and crushing drying chamber at the bottom of the dryer. The material is strongly cut, floated and rotated, so the material is microparticle by centrifuge, shear, collision and friction, which strengthens the mass transfer and heat transfer. At the bottom of the dryer, the larger and more wet particles are mechanically broken under the action of the agitator, the particles with low moisture content and the smaller particle size are increased by the entrainment of the rotating airflow, and further dry in the process of rising. The solid state inertia is larger than the gas phase because the gas solid phase is rotating, and the relative velocity between the two phases of solid gas is strong. The heat transfer effect of two phases is changed, so the machine has high drying strength.
